How do I book an event?

Click on "Book An Event" above. You will be provided with an online application that will provide me with all of the information I need regarding your event. Upon
submitting your application, I will verify my availability and contact you with instructions for completing your Service Agreement and submitting your deposit.

What payment methods are available to me?

I accept all major credit cards and personal checks. Payments can be made online 24 hours a day, seven days a week by clicking on the payment link on the top of
this page. Online payments are credited instantly upon approval and a receipt will be emailed to you shortly after you complete your payment. For your peace of mind,
you may also print out your receipt at the time of payment. If you prefer, you may also mail in your payments via personal check made payable to Chris Englert. Please
allow up to 7 full days for your check to be received and processed.
Is a contract and /or deposit required?

Yes. For mutual security and to protect the integrity of my business, I do require a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 along with a Service Agreement before I can
guarantee your reservation. The Service Agreement is a simple and straight forward statement of what I require from you and also what you can expect from me.

Do you have a cancellation and Refund policy?

Yes, I offer both. If you must cancel your reservation for any reason, you may do so within one week (7 calendar days)  without penalty with the exception of your
security deposit which is non-refundable. If you fail to allow at least one weeks notice, you will be billed a fee of $50.00 which serves as an early termination fee.
Upon receipt of this fee, you will be released from your contractual obligation immediately and receive written confirmation.
Refunds - In the event that there is a
technical problem with my equipment, you will receive a prorated refund for the amount of time in which the services were suspended. If the suspension is due to a
problem or issue with the hosting facility, you must seek restitution from the management of the facility.

How do I complete my contract and deposit?

After you have received approval for your chosen date, you will receive an email containing a link to your Service Agreement. After you have read and endorsed the
Service Agreement online, you will required to submit your deposit online to finish sending your Service Agreement. If you are unable to make your payment online,
please contact DJ Chris Englert and request to have your Service Agreement mailed to you. You may then return your completed Service Agreement with your check
or money order made payable to Chris Englert. Expedited delivery is recommended in this case as reservations are accepted in the order of completion.

I already booked an event and submitted my deposit. Can I make additional payments on my balance?

Yes, you may return to my website to make payments whenever you like. This site is available 24/7 and your payments will be credited instantly.

When is my remaining balance due?

Any balance that remains on your account will be due and payable no later than the day of your event. Payment is expected to be made before the start of your
services and can be paid directly to your DJ. If paying with a personal check, proper identification may be required. If you wish to make your final payment online
before arriving at your event, please be sure to bring along your receipt as proof of payment. You may also mail your payment at any time

Is your website safe?

Yes! For your security, all web forms and payment pages are protected with 128-bit SSL encryption. I have chosen Elbowspace Business Solutions to host my online
forms on their protected server as an added benefit to you. Any time you complete an online document through this website, you are protected. You can always tell
when you are protected by looking at the prefix of the web address. Look for the https:// prefix. The (S) indicates that the site is secure.

What music genres are in your collection?

50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, Classic Rock, Country, Hip Hop, Motown, Oldies, Pop, R&B, Rock and Top 40.

Do you have liability insurance?

No. Normally this type of insurance is only required because the hosting facility is worried that the DJ will somehow damage their property. This is completely
impossible in my opinion and because of this, I do not carry nor will I carry this type of insurance. The second reason that I am against this insurance is simply the
fact that the premiums are so high and I would certainly have to increase my rates to cover the additional expense. If your hosting facility requires that your DJ have
liability insurance, I will be unable to offer you service and suggest you look into a more suitable place for holding your event.

Describe your DJ style:

My style depends on your preference. I can be very laid back and out of the picture or I can be very upbeat and interact with the guests. Since 1996 I have entertained
for many different functions and have the ability to easily adjust to your preference.

What is your usual attire?

I will arrive in a full suit for wedding receptions and neat casual dress for all other events unless otherwise requested.

If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?

No. I have a very large music database and many music resources available to me. Most often, I will have your selections and if I do not, I will make sure to get them
for you in time for your event. If for any reason I am unable to obtain the songs you requested, I will let you know and offer you the option of providing it yourself.

How many other DJs do you work with?

I work with one other DJ and my Photographer who will occasionally assist me with setting up and tearing down. In the event that I become unavailable due to illness
or family emergency, my partner will take over for me and is capable of providing the same level of service that I would have. In almost 15 years, I have never called
off sick nor missed an event that I was scheduled for.

What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?

The minimum amount of time I book for is three hours and the maximum is six hours. Any time more or less must be approved in advance.

Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?

Yes, I do make myself available for meetings with all of my clients but do require meetings for wedding clients. If you would like to meet with me in person
beforehand, please call to schedule the meeting. As a normal part of my wedding registration process, I will contact all future brides/grooms and schedule a
meeting that fits your schedule.

Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?

No. Although I am open many events, I specialize in weddings and birthday parties.

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

My normal service does not include any lighting as this is very expensive and would force me to increase my rates. If you prefer to have some moderate lighting
effects, I do have lighting equipment at my disposal and will have to charge a little more to cover the additional cost of operation and equipment. For more
information on lighting, please call me directly and I can better assist you.

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?

I prefer to have at least 3 or 4 hours to set-up. This will allow me to provide the cleanest and most attractive set-up and of course, to make sure everything is
functioning properly. I do prefer to have a standard 6 foot banquet table available but if this is not possible, I can bring my own.

Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?

I normally will make any announcements between songs and also interact with your guests a little bit here and there. I do not like to speak over the music and
therefore, will wait until the end of a song before making any announcements. Of course if you have any announcement that requires immediate relay, just let me
know.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

No, I do not require a meal break but if offered, I appreciate the gesture. If a meal break is provided, I will make sure to load enough music to get through the meal
period.

What is your overtime rate?

If you decide that you would like to extend your event, I will be happy to stay as long as I am available beyond your contracted time. I do not charge any fees in addition
to your hourly rate. If your hourly rate is $100.00, that is the amount you will be charged for overtime service. Payment will be due at the time of your request
otherwise, services will end as scheduled.

I realize that I may not have answered all of your questions and invite you to call or email me for further assistance. Thank you!
