| Terms & Conditions of Service |
Upon submission of your Service Application, your reservation will be placed in a pending status, awaiting approval from DJ Chris Englert. If and when your application
is approved, you will receive an email instructing you to submit a non-refundable deposit of $100.00, which will update your status from pending to confirmed. Once
your reservation is confirmed, your event is considered booked and guaranteed. Until this time, you are under no obligation to DJ Chris Englert and DJ Chris Englert is
under no obligation to you. Your deposit must be received within 7 days from the date of your approval email or your reservation will be canceled and the date of
your event will be re-listed as available. Deposits can be made online via the CLIENT SERVICES menu at www.djchrisenglert.com or mailed to DJ Chris Englert, 686 North
Tacoma Street, Allentown, PA 18109.
PAYMENTS: Prior to the date of your event, acceptable methods of payment include all major credit cards, personal checks, US Postal Service money orders and
PayPal. All checks and money orders must be made payable to CHRIS ENGLERT and a $20.00 Returned Check Fee applies. Please allow 7 full days for any mailed
payments to be received and processed. Online payments are processed and credited to your balance immediately. Any balances that remain due on the day of your
event must be paid in full to your DJ in the form of a cash payment before any services are rendered. No exceptions! No other payment methods will be accepted and
additional fees will be charged if you are unable to settle your balance as described in this agreement. You may pay off your balance online before arriving at your
event if a cash payment is not possible. Please retain your receipt as proof of payment for your DJ. Payments can also be mailed to the address above.
LATE FEES & PENALTIES: A fee of $20.00 will be charged if any check is returned as non-payable or if you are unable to settle your balance on the day of your event as
described above. DJ Chris Englert reserves the right refuse services if full payment is not made in advance and furthermore may forward any past due balances to a 3rd
party collection agency for immediate recovery. You will be responsible for paying any fees associated with the cost of collection.
CANCELLATIONS - In order to cancel your reservation and be released from this contractual obligation, you must request and complete a Deposit Waiver form within 24
hours of your event date. This document clearly states that you are requesting the cancellation and are forfeiting your deposit. Failure to properly cancel your
reservation will result in a Termination Fee of $50.00 in addition to any deposit made.
EXTENSIONS - You are permitted to extend your event with approval from your Disc Jockey provided that payment is made at that time in the form of a cash payment.
The cost of the extension will be billed in either 30 or 60 minute intervals and the amount due will be based on your regular hourly rate.
REFUND POLICY: If for any reason an interruption in service occurs due to equipment malfunction, you will receive a prorated reimbursement for the amount of time
in which the services were suspended. If an interruption in service occurs due to a conflict beyond the control of DJ CHRIS ENGLERT, no liability will be assumed and
no reimbursement or discount will be provided.
OUTDOOR FUNCTIONS - If your event is scheduled to take place outdoors, you will be responsible for providing a safe, sturdy shelter for the equipment to be set-up
under. This shelter must be rain proof and wind resistant and have at least a 10 x 10 foot clearance. Under no circumstances will DJ Chris Englert perform outdoors
without an approved shelter regardless of any weather forecast. Weather can be extremely unpredictable and damaging to the equipment. Some examples of
satisfactory shelters include carports, garages and sturdy tents. If for any reason the weather should become an issue, DJ Chris Englert reserves the right to shut
down the equipment and secure it until the bad weather has passed. In order to comply with the laws in your towns jurisdiction, DJ Chris Englert will monitor and
control the sound level at his discretion. If for any reason a complaint is made due to the volume of the music, DJ Chris Englert will comply with the request to lower
the volume to a suitable level. It is strongly advised that you inform your neighbors and local businesses that you will be hosting an outdoor event and provide them
with the hours in which the music may be audible. In many cases this will prevent unknowing neighbors and businesses from filing a noise complaint with the city.
RESPONSIBILITY - During your event, you will be responsible for the actions of your guests and may be held accountable in the event of any damages caused by any of
your guests. Although this is a rare occurrence, DJ Chris Englert must take into consideration that accidents due to carelessness does happen from time to time and
must protect any equipment used during your event to the best of his ability. For mutual security, DJ Chris Englert does not permit any food, beverages or visibly
intoxicated individuals in the DJ's area or near any of the equipment.
In accordance with this agreement, I agree that I have read and understand all of the terms and conditions set forth within and furthermore agree to indemnify and
hold harmless DJ CHRIS ENGLERT from any litigation or class action suit resulting from any term or condition of this agreement. This agreement shall remain active until
all of the terms and conditions have been satisfied including but not limited to payment of any balance due. I also understand that once my deposit is paid this form
and my Service Application will become a legal agreement that cannot be canceled or withdrawn without following the proper cancellation procedures as outlined
above. The services that I will be provided with are based solely on the information that I previously provided on my Service Application and confirm that the
information provided is true and has been verified for accuracy.
